Guides
Not advice, and not another explainer of how selling online works. Each of these publishes something this site’s fee database can prove and, as far as we can tell, nobody else has run.
Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 below $15 and 20% at $15 and above. Because 20% of $15 is more than $2.95, there is a narrow band where charging more leaves you with less.
Listing at $15.00 nets less than listing at $14.99, and the band does not close until $15.05.
Most marketplace percentages are billed on the order total, which includes the shipping you charged. Raising your shipping price raises your fee bill. Two platforms do not do this at all.
On an identical $10 of buyer-paid shipping, the fee it generates ranges from $1.36 to nothing at all, depending on the platform.
The standard comparison article names a price where the cheaper platform swaps. We tested every pair on this site from $0.50 to $20,000. Seven of nine never cross.
Seven of nine platform pairs have no crossover at any price. The winner is decided by settings, not by how much you charge.
Every figure in these pieces is computed at build time by the same engine that answers the calculators, from rates last verified 2026-09-05. None is typed by hand, so a guide cannot drift away from the tool it describes — and when a platform changes a rate, the prose changes with it.
