Grailed fee calculator
Menswear resale. 6% under $120 with a $1.99 minimum, 9% above.
Grailed charges sellers a commission plus a separate payment processing fee. The commission depends on the sale price: 6% with a $1.99 minimum below $120, and 9% from $120 up. The rate applies to the whole sale price rather than only the part above the line, so crossing $120 raises the fee on every dollar at once — a listing priced just above $120 can pay out less than one priced just below it. Whether shipping counts toward the sale price depends on the label: with a Grailed Label the buyer pays the label and commission is on the listing price only; ship on your own label and the shipping you charge is added in.

- Grailed says the sale price "is the amount used to determine your commission rate", and lists 9% for $120 and above and 6% under $120. This calculator applies the rate to the whole sale price, which is how that table reads; it does not split the price into bands.
- Grailed does not say whether payment processing is charged on the shipping the buyer pays. This calculator applies it to the whole payment, item plus shipping. With no shipping entered the question does not arise.
- With a Grailed Label the buyer pays the label cost at checkout and it never reaches you. Enter it as both the shipping charged and the shipping cost, or leave both at zero; either way your profit is the same.
- If you offer free shipping with a Grailed Label, the label cost is deducted from your payment. That is a shipping cost, not a fee — enter it as your shipping cost.
- The 6% reduced rate applies to sales on or after 20 May 2026. Promotional commission rates that Grailed communicates separately, and any VAT or GST Grailed charges on its fee to sellers outside the US, are not modelled.
Grailed fees: common questions
How much does Grailed take from a $50 sale?
$5.24 in fees on a $50 sale, leaving you $44.76 — an effective rate of 10.48%. On $100 it is $9.98, leaving $90.02. The effective rate is higher on the smaller sale because part of the fee is a fixed amount per transaction, which weighs more heavily on smaller orders.
What are Grailed's fees, exactly?
On a $50 sale, the fees are seller fee of $3.00 (6% of $50.00), payment processing of $2.24 (3.49% of $50.00 + $0.49). That comes to $5.24 in total. There is no monthly fee.
Does Grailed charge fees on shipping?
Partly. Payment processing is charged on the whole payment, shipping included; the seller fee is not. A $50 item with free shipping costs $5.24 in fees; the same item with $10 shipping costs $5.58 — $0.34 more, on shipping money that mostly goes to the carrier. Choose "Your own label" under "Shipping label" and the seller fee is charged on shipping too.
What should I charge on Grailed to keep $50?
Work it backwards rather than guessing: at Grailed's rates you have to charge more than $50 to keep $50, because the fee is taken from what the buyer pays. The what-to-charge calculator solves for the exact price, including any flat per-transaction fee, and rounds up to the cent so you are never left short.
What does this Grailed calculator not include?
Grailed says the sale price "is the amount used to determine your commission rate", and lists 9% for $120 and above and 6% under $120. This calculator applies the rate to the whole sale price, which is how that table reads; it does not split the price into bands.
Are these Grailed fees up to date?
They were read from Grailed's own published fee schedule on October 5, 2026, and the source is linked on this page so you can check it yourself. Grailed's source pages cannot be read by the weekly automated check, so it flags them for a manual re-read instead. Fee schedules do move without notice, so where this page and Grailed disagree, Grailed is right.
That is what Grailed takes. What the unit actually earns is another question again, once shipping, advertising and the orders that come back are in the picture — work out the true margin.

There is no account, no email wall and nothing for sale here, which is deliberate — it is what lets the site publish what platforms actually charge and link to where each rate came from. Re-reading ten fee schedules every week is the unglamorous part, and it is what keeps the numbers worth trusting. If that saved you a bad listing decision, you are welcome to put a little toward the domain and the hosting. If it did not, please do not.
