Poshmark fee calculator

Social marketplace for secondhand fashion.

Poshmark charges one fee and nothing else: a flat $2.95 under $15, or 20% at $15 and above. There is no listing fee and no separate payment processing line. The flat band has a consequence almost nobody mentions — because $2.95 is less than 20% of $15, a sale priced at exactly $15.00 pays more fee than one at $14.99 and leaves the seller with less. That dead zone runs to $15.04.

What this calculator does not cover

  • Poshmark states the fee is taken from "the final order price" without defining whether that includes buyer-paid shipping. Shipping on Poshmark is a separate flat label the buyer pays, so the fee here is applied to the item price. Treat a shipped order as an estimate.
  • The $15 boundary is a threshold, not a band: a $15.00 sale pays 20% of the whole amount, not 20% of the part above $15.
  • Pricing between $15.00 and $15.04 nets less than pricing at $14.99, because a flat $2.95 is cheaper than 20%.
  • Offers, bundle discounts and Posh Show sales can change the final order price the fee is calculated on.
  • Closet clear-out and promoted-listing costs are separate and are not modelled.

Poshmark fees: common questions

How much does Poshmark take from a $50 sale?

$10.00 on a $50 sale, leaving you $40.00 — an effective rate of 20%. On $100 it is $20.00, leaving $80.00. The rate differs between the two because Poshmark charges a fixed amount per transaction as well as a percentage, so the flat part weighs more heavily on smaller orders.

What are Poshmark's fees, exactly?

On a $50 sale, Poshmark charges seller fee of $10.00 (20% of $50.00). That comes to $10.00 in total. There is no monthly fee.

What should I charge on Poshmark to keep $50?

Work it backwards rather than guessing: at Poshmark's rates you have to charge more than $50 to keep $50, because the fee is taken from what the buyer pays. The what-to-charge calculator solves for the exact price, including the flat per-transaction fee, and rounds up to the cent so you are never left short.

What does this Poshmark calculator not include?

Poshmark states the fee is taken from "the final order price" without defining whether that includes buyer-paid shipping. Shipping on Poshmark is a separate flat label the buyer pays, so the fee here is applied to the item price. Treat a shipped order as an estimate.

Are these Poshmark fees up to date?

They were read from Poshmark's own published fee schedule on September 5, 2026, and the source is linked on this page so you can check it yourself. An automated check re-reads every source page weekly and flags any that have changed. Fee schedules do move without notice, so where this page and Poshmark disagree, Poshmark is right.

That is what Poshmark takes. What the unit actually earns is another question again, once shipping, advertising and the orders that come back are in the picture — work out the true margin.

There is no account, no email wall and nothing for sale here, which is deliberate — it is what lets the site publish what platforms actually charge and link to where each rate came from. Re-reading ten fee schedules every week is the unglamorous part, and it is what keeps the numbers worth trusting. If that saved you a bad listing decision, you are welcome to put a little toward the domain and the hosting. If it did not, please do not.
