Kajabi fee calculator

Courses, coaching and memberships. No revenue share; 2.7–2.9% + $0.30 through Kajabi Payments.

Kajabi takes no revenue share on any plan. What a sale costs is payment processing, and through Kajabi Payments the US card rate falls with the plan: 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic at $179 a month, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth at $249, and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro at $499. International cards add 1.5%, and subscriptions and payment plans add 0.7% to every payment in the series. A seller who connects Stripe instead pays Stripe's own rates plus a Kajabi transaction fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. PayPal payments carry PayPal's fees and no Kajabi fee. Kajabi has no free plan, so the monthly price is shown separately below.

Kajabi Basic (billed monthly) — $179.00 per month. This is not a per-sale cost, so it is kept out of the figures above. Across 100 orders a month it adds $1.79 per order; across 10 it adds $17.90.

On this sale, Kajabi ranks 2 of 29 for what reaches you.

What this calculator does not cover

  • Rates are Kajabi's published US rates. Kajabi says its pricing-page rates are "for U.S.-based Heroes only"; businesses registered in Australia, Canada, the UK, the UAE or Europe pay that country's schedule, which is not modelled.
  • Kajabi does not say what the third-party processor fee is charged on, so it is applied to the sale price, the same amount processing is charged on. Kajabi charges it only in countries where Kajabi Payments is available.
  • With your own Stripe account, processing is Stripe's published US standard rate. Stripe's subscription billing and other add-on products are not included.
  • Monthly prices are the billed-monthly rates. Billed annually, Kajabi lists Basic at $143, Growth at $199 and Pro at $399 a month.
  • Kajabi Payments also lists ACH Direct Debit (0.8%, capped at $5), Link instant bank payments (2.6% + $0.30), Afterpay (6% + $0.30) and Klarna (5.99% + $0.30). Only card payments are modelled.
  • Optional Kajabi Payments fees are left out: Kajabi Sales Tax ($0.15 per transaction where enabled), Kajabi Invoicing (+0.4%), a manually entered card (+0.5% the first time), Instant Payouts (1.5%, $0.50 minimum) and the $15 dispute fee.
  • Kajabi says your plan may qualify you for discounted card rates. The rates here are the ones on the pricing page; check Account Settings > Billing for yours.

Kajabi fees: common questions

How much does Kajabi take from a $50 sale?

$1.75 in fees on a $50 sale, leaving you $48.25 — an effective rate of 3.5%. On $100 it is $3.20, leaving $96.80. The effective rate is higher on the smaller sale because part of the fee is a fixed amount per transaction, which weighs more heavily on smaller orders.

What are Kajabi's fees, exactly?

On a $50 sale, the fees are Kajabi Payments processing of $1.75 (2.9% of $50.00 + $0.30). That comes to $1.75 in total. There is also $179.00 per month, which is not charged per sale.

What should I charge on Kajabi to keep $50?

Work it backwards rather than guessing: at Kajabi's rates you have to charge more than $50 to keep $50, because the fee is taken from what the buyer pays. The what-to-charge calculator solves for the exact price, including any flat per-transaction fee, and rounds up to the cent so you are never left short.

Is Kajabi's monthly fee worth it?

That depends entirely on your order volume, not your revenue. $179.00 per month is the same whether you sell nothing or thousands, so spread across 10 orders a month it adds $17.90 per order, and across 100 it adds $1.79. Compare that against the per-sale saving before deciding — the plan fee is deliberately kept out of the per-sale figures on this page for exactly that reason.

What does this Kajabi calculator not include?

Rates are Kajabi's published US rates. Kajabi says its pricing-page rates are "for U.S.-based Heroes only"; businesses registered in Australia, Canada, the UK, the UAE or Europe pay that country's schedule, which is not modelled.

Are these Kajabi fees up to date?

They were read from Kajabi's own published fee schedule on October 20, 2026, and the source is linked on this page so you can check it yourself. An automated check re-reads every source page weekly and flags any that have changed. Fee schedules do move without notice, so where this page and Kajabi disagree, Kajabi is right.

That is what Kajabi takes. What the unit actually earns is another question again, once shipping, advertising and the orders that come back are in the picture — work out the true margin.

There is no account, no email wall and nothing for sale here, which is deliberate — it is what lets the site publish what platforms actually charge and link to where each rate came from. Re-reading ten fee schedules every week is the unglamorous part, and it is what keeps the numbers worth trusting. If that saved you a bad listing decision, you are welcome to put a little toward the domain and the hosting. If it did not, please do not.
